Protecting Sean McGregor’s widow
Natalie had faced trouble before. As a highly trained agent of the British Secret Intelligence Service, she’d known heartache and passion and fear. But never before had she been pushed into a corner with no way out. Until now . . .
The man the Lazlo Group sent to help her, to protect her, was none other than her husband, Sean McGregor. After two year of mourning a man who had never died, would she have the time to forgive him . . . or would the brutal actions of a madman leave her widowed, once again?
I kind of hate getting into a series in the middle. This book is part of a Mission Impassioned Series from Silhouette Romantic Suspense. Earlier this month, I read Lyn Stone’s contribution to the series, Kiss or Kill. I was a bit confused then – and reading this book gave me a bit more insight into Lazlo and whatever is going on with him. I now will feel compelled to buy other books in the series.
Anyway, I enjoyed this book a bit more than Kiss or Kill. I’m definitely a sucker for the reunited lovers plot. The return of a dead husband is even better. In these situations, there is often quite a bit of emotional turmoil
